This programme is designed to produce professionals who are qualified in Shari'ah law to serve the judicial and legal services in the Muslim world. It aims to develop capable practitioners who have a mastery of the various aspects of the administration of Islamic Law and the ability to critically view them from conventional and Islamic perspectives.
This programme is designed to provide in-depth and practical knowledge of business law and how it affects business, accounting, and finance, commercial and corporate environments. It enables participants to enhance the requisite skills and knowledge to practice as commercial lawyers within legal, accounting and other business-related professions.
To expose the participants to this broad spectrum of international issues, they can choose to specialise in any of three areas of international law by following its 'specialisation courses' in addition to the requisite core courses. These areas of specialisation are Human Rights & Humanitarian Law, International Trade Law, and Maritime Law.
This course provides a comprehensive understanding to the Islamic Banking and Finance law augmented with an analysis of the situation in Malaysia and the global perspectives.
